The More You Buy, The Cheaper It Gets
The more pieces we personalise, the lower the production cost becomes, as repeating the same design consecutively becomes more efficient. Because of this, larger orders often have a lower per-item cost, increasing value for money.
Custom Clothes Pricing Bands
At Banana Moon, we have specific pricing bands for different order quantities on each item. Following the rule explained above, you’ll see that the price increase for each quantity band gradually decreases.
How Much Do Different Types of Clothing Customisation Cost?
At Banana Moon, we’re proud to offer a wide range of customisation options, and each type is priced differently.
How Much Does It Cost to Print on Clothes?
The cost of a printed piece largely depends on the number of colours used, with single-colour prints costing less than multicolour designs. Typically, the more colours that your design uses, the higher the cost will be as it takes longer to set up and uses more ink.
We also offer a range of printing options, and the option that provides the highest value for money depends on the order quantity and requirements. For smaller orders, Direct-to-Garment and Direct-to-Film prints are highly effective and lower in cost as the machine doesn’t have a lot of setup time. However, for larger orders, screen printing has an overall lower cost, as, despite the setup time being longer than other processes, it is able to repeat designs at the highest speed and efficiency.
On top of this, once a screen is made or a design is digitised, we store everything on file so that we can embroider or print to the exact quality and spec each time. This makes the process much quicker with no need to repeat the design, setup and approval process.
How Much Does It Cost to Embroider a Logo or Design
Embroidery cost is very dependent on size, with a small logo embroidered on a breast pocket costing significantly less than a large embroidery design covering the main body of the garment. Typically, large embroidery can cost around 4x the price of a small logo embroidery.
Going Premium: 3D Embroidery and Specialist Finishes
On top of our typical printing and embroidery, we also offer specialist personalisations, including 3D and holographic effects. The costings for these are case-based, so simply contact us to enquire.
How Much Does it Cost to Customise Branded Clothes?
We’re honoured to stock pieces from beloved brands such as Patagonia and Adidas. With these pieces, you can expect to pay the same retail price as you would when buying from the brand directly, plus the cost of customisation.
These premium items are excellent to personalise as high-end client gifts or as staff appreciation gifts due to their high perceived value.
Value For Money: The Hidden Cost of Customised Clothes
Quality is essential when it comes to clothing customisation. Comfortable materials that your employees or club members will appreciate, first-class embroidery that lasts hundreds of washes and more.
This is especially important when creating uniforms for businesses and sports teams, as high-quality clothing and customisation mean fewer uniform replacements (and therefore lower replacement costs) in the future.
As a B-Corp with a passion for sustainability, we always endeavour to provide customised clothes that will be worn again and again, for greater ongoing value to our customers and lower environmental impact, too. We also aim to make our personalisation methods as eco-friendly as possible and to offer a range of sustainable fabrics to further reduce the environmental cost.
