A Classic Choice for Custom Workwear

When it comes to full-body protection and a truly professional aesthetic, personalised overalls remain the gold standard for high-intensity work environments. From the grease-stained floors of a mechanic's garage to the splattered canvases of a professional artist’s studio, or the meticulous finish required by painters and decorators, overalls are the ultimate functional garment.

The beauty of the "boiler suit" or bib-and-brace style is its ability to provide a barrier against dirt, spills, and abrasions while offering ample storage for tools and essentials. By customising your overalls with high-quality embroidery or durable prints, you transform utility gear into a powerful branding tool. It tells your clients that you take your craft seriously, from your skills down to your uniform.

"We’re not just in the business of printing logos - customers choose us cause they can feel the difference in our family values, sustainable approach and high quality. Our team genuinely cares about people and the planet, and we’re proud to bring that ethos to every order." - Alex Grace, Founder and CEO.

As a B Corp Certified company, we are committed to sourcing workwear that lasts, reducing the need for frequent replacements and supporting a more sustainable textile industry. FAQs

Where should I put my branding on my personalised overalls?

The most effective placements for branding on overalls include:

  • The Left Chest: The standard choice for company names or staff monograms.
  • The Large Back Panel: Perfect for high-visibility branding, ensuring your company name is seen while you’re bent over a task or working on-site.
  • The Bib (for Bib & Brace styles): A central, prominent location that keeps your logo front and centre.
  • The Sleeves: Great for secondary branding or trade association logos.

Are Banana Moon overalls PPE?

While our overalls provide excellent protection against general dirt and minor abrasions, "PPE" (Personal Protective Equipment) is a specific safety designation. Many of our technical overalls, such as flame-retardant or Hi-Vis options, meet specific EN safety standards. We always recommend checking the individual product specifications for safety ratings or contacting our team to ensure the garment meets your specific workplace safety requirements.

Why wear overalls in the workplace?

Overalls offer three main benefits: protection, professional uniformity, and convenience. They protect the wearer's skin and underclothing from hazardous or messy substances, provide a consistent "one-piece" look that looks professional to clients, and usually feature multiple utility pockets (like rule pockets and hammer loops) that make carrying tools significantly easier throughout the day.

Do the overalls feature specific reinforced areas, such as kneepad pockets, and is it safe to customise near them?

Many of our heavy-duty workwear overalls feature reinforced knees and dedicated internal pockets for kneepads. When customising, we take great care to ensure embroidery or prints do not interfere with these functional features. We generally advise against embroidering directly onto a kneepad pocket, as the stitching can compromise the pocket's integrity or cause discomfort; however, branding on the thigh just above the reinforcement is a popular and safe alternative.
