Background
Surrey Theatre Academy offers young people aged 4-18 years the best in all aspects of performing arts training. The Academy provides a range of fun classes and workshops led by industry professionals. The children enjoy truly special theatrical opportunities, enabling them to reach their potential, learn essential life skills and grow in confidence.
The Opportunity
The Academy has over 200 children attending weekly classes and holiday workshops. They wanted a smart branded uniform for the children and staff to wear, to provide a cohesive look and help to raise awareness of the academy in the local community. They wanted to source t-shirts and hoodies as well as a small selection of branded merchandise for gifting.
The Solution
We supplied the Academy with t-shirts and hoodies in navy and red to match their brand. We printed a small brand logo to the front and a larger one on the back – using white ink for an effective contrast against the coloured background. We helped to advise on performance fabrics, recommending a sweat-wicking fabric for the dancers. We also provided some smaller items of branded merchandise including beanie hats and a much-coveted Surrey Theatre Academy teddy bear.
