A progressive & sustainable new identity for Heaford
Background
Heaford is a global supplier of high-quality mounting and proofing machines and equipment dedicated to improving prepress efficiency and productivity in the flexographic and gravure print industries. Established in 1982, the company is a privately owned visionary business built on strong family values and integrity. Every Heaford product is manufactured in the UK at the company’s Manchester site.
The opportunity
During 2021, Heaford involved customers, agents, and colleagues in its next phase of growth. This consultation resulted in a progressive new brand and positioning as part of a wider strategy. New workwear presented an opportunity to bring the Heaford community closer together, whilst at the same time, articulating a consistent high quality brand expression.
The Solution
We helped Heaford to identify the best solutions for their needs. Their new brand is purple, so we made some samples to show how this would look on a range of different fabrics and colours. Sustainability is important to the company, and they stayed true to their values by choosing eco-friendly options. We also advised them on the performance attributes of fabrics, important because their service engineers often work in hot conditions.
The Banana Moon experience
