Teamwear for Redkite
Redkite helps businesses unlock value from their data and provide end-to-end data expertise from strategy to design to build. They've been in the business since 2018 and they are experts at helping their customers enable better, faster decision-making and accelerated performance
In order to create an internal merch gifting campaign for the team, Redkite was looking for branded high-quality team wear. Unfortunately, in their search for a dependent supplier they were let down and left waiting. After some research they came across the Banana Moon website and decided to reach out. Senior Marketing Partner, Victor Caibé explains:
"One of the key factors that made us choose BM over competitors is that the company was able to provide a wide range of hoodies to choose from, as well as other items such as tote bags that we were also looking to give to our team.
The website was also a great factor when deciding to go with BM, as it was displaying everything that we wanted to know, was easy to navigate and provided impactful storytelling through video and more so great job on that. "
Naturally, having just been let down by a different company Redkite was looking for dependable supplier that was able to deliver high quality teamwear with a quick turnaround. Once the first contact was made, we arranged a quick introduction call to discuss Redkite’s project and current situation:

When it came to the design of the hoodie we ended up going with appliqué for the logo and company name. The appliqué was added on the chest and on the end of the sleeve. Appliqué is a process that uses embroidery to stitch a pre cut piece of fabric onto a garment. Rather than creating the whole design from stitch, a large section is made from a felt like material. A great option for getting a unique look that stands out.
As part of the campaign Redkite was looking for organic tote bags - with three individual designs. The designs of the totebags where applied with Direct to Film. A process that prints directly on to a transparent film that is then applied to the final product using a heat press. One of the benefits with using DTF transfers is there is little to no waste, which we love!
The DTF print can be used across a wide range of garments, it is durable, has a very soft feel on the garment and is very colour accurate. By using this printform on the sustainable totebags the artwork really stood out and it made the colours and branding come to life.
"Overall, we had a great experience working with Banana Moon. The products were as described (even better!) and the team was incredibly happy with their items. The quality of the embroideries is great; same goes for the printing on the tote bags. Execution time was also impressive, where it took less than two weeks to get all the products done (counting around 200 hoodies and 150 tote bags) and delivered to the Redkite teams once the final designs were approved.
The flexibility that Banana Moon showed when helping us create and deliver the items in a short period of time, making sure they were as we wanted them to be, comforted us with the idea that Banana Moon was not only a capable company but more importantly, a highly reliable one.
