Recycling Scheme Terms & Conditions

By participating in the Banana Moon Clothing Recycling
Scheme, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility

• The scheme is open to UK-based businesses, organisations, clubs, and schools with personalised clothing items that are no longer suitable for reuse or donation.
  
• Items must contain personalisation (e.g. embroidery, print, or company logos).

2. How It Works

• Participants must complete our Recycling Submission Form, which includes:
• Business or organisation details
• Description and quantity of items
• Clear photographs of each item type
• Confirmation that all items have been cleaned and are free of contaminants
• Once the form is approved, you may ship your items to the address provided. Please mark the box(es) RECYCLING SCHEME
• All shipping costs are the responsibility of the sender.

3. Condition of Items

• All items must be freshly laundered, dry, and free of excessive wear, mould, odours, or contamination.
• We reserve the right to refuse or return any items that do not meet these standards. Return shipping will be at the sender’s expense.

4. Processing Timeline

• Upon receipt, items will be inspected and stored.
• Items are forwarded to our recycling partner, Bright Secure Recycling, within 60 days of receipt.
• Accepted items will be repurposed into dog beds for rescue centres or other appropriate recycled material uses.

5. Publicity and PR Collaboration

• By taking part, you agree to engage in reasonable joint PR activity (such as sharing social posts, logos, or participation stories) to promote the sustainability initiative.
• You may be contacted for potential press, filming or case study features.

6. Liability

• Banana Moon Clothing is not responsible for lost, damaged, or delayed items during transit.
• We cannot return items once they have been accepted for recycling.
• We make no guarantees regarding how individual items will be recycled, but we aim to follow best practices for textile recycling and repurposing.

7. Changes to the Scheme

• Banana Moon Clothing reserves the right to amend, pause, or terminate the recycling scheme at any time, with or without notice.
