Background
Yorkshire Dance is a charity which champions the value of dance and its development in Yorkshire. An extensive choice of dance classes and courses is available, providing opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities to see, make and participate in high quality dance.
The Opportunity
Yorkshire Dance offers a dance programme, Dance On, providing weekly classes for older adults over the age of 55. During the COVID pandemic, the charity switched to running its classes online and despite the challenges this raised, received fantastic support from the programme’s participants. As a thank you, the charity wanted to gift everyone with a special Dance On branded t-shirt, to encourage a sense of community and togetherness.
The Solution
We helped Yorkshire Dance to select a high-quality 100% cotton t-shirt that would be comfortable for the wearer and suitable for Direct to Garment printing. They chose purple t-shirts to reflect their brand and we prepared designs featuring both the Yorkshire Dance and Dance On logos to show how they would look against the chosen colour.
